Tri-Food: What to Eat

If you’re really dedicated you should be eating the following items daily:
Chicken: Lots and lots of chicken. Of course it’s boring and no it’s not the best tasting thing in the world but the more lean protein you eat the better your muscles can heal from the rigors you’re putting them through.
Carbs: Contrary to popular belief, carbs are good for you when consumed the right way! Try to stick to whole-grain when possible and focus on meals that contain both carbs and protein. Carbs are a great way to get some energy before a workout, too.
Caffeine: Speaking of energy, many protein powders now contain trace amounts of caffeine designed to give a burst of energy right before a workout. Get your fix with one cup of coffee a day but whatever you do, stay away from whole and diet soda drinks as they’re full of empty calories.
